Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ovelithub handles personal data on Ovelink. We follow Bangladesh's Personal Data Protection Ordinance 2025 and, for members in Europe and the UK, the GDPR.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, password (hashed), country.
• Profile: what you choose to add — headline, photo, experience, education, skills. Public unless you limit it in Settings.
• Activity: posts, comments, messages, applications, proposals, contracts and wallet transactions.
• Verification documents: ID, licences and demand letters you upload. Stored privately; only moderators can open them.
• Technical: IP address and browser for security and rate limiting. No advertising trackers.

Who sees what

• Your public profile can be seen by anyone, and indexed by search engines, unless you choose "members only".
• Your phone number and CV are shared only with employers you apply to.
• Messages are visible only to the people in the conversation, and to moderators when a message is reported.
• We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Wallet ledger records are kept as long as the law requires for financial records. Verification documents are deleted 12 months after review.

Your rights

You can see and edit your data in your profile and settings, delete your account from Settings, and ask for a copy of your data or raise a concern at privacy@ovelithub.com.

Photos

Uploaded images are re-saved without location (GPS) data or camera information.
